Hair Loss

I have always had a special interest in this sensitive subject & over the years have been touched & inspired by clients who have had to deal with hair loss, so when the chance came up to study & take my Trichology for Hairdessers exam I jumped at the chance & passed with flying colours.

I strongly feel all Hairdressers should have this knowledge to be able to advise & support their clients. Most of the time reassurance is all that is needed.

Unfortunately since we had lockdowns, Covid & new vaccines we have seen an increase in people having concerns & signs of hair loss of varying degrees or scalp issues they have never had before.

Many cases are a reaction to stress & will easily settle with time but if this is not the case then time is of the essence to get you the correct diagnosis & referral if necessary.

I am able to deal with this confidentially & sensitively if you need more advice.

I am happy to have an initial chat over the phone if you prefer & then we can take things from there.

If you are facing cancer treatment & are likely to experience hair loss as a side effect of the treatment then again this can be dealt with sensitively & we can guide you & support you through to your new hair regrowing.

I can also put you in touch with other organisations/charities offering specific support for this.

You don't have to face this alone.

Please get in touch.

I aim to post information on hair loss & scalp issues on the salon Blog pages when time allows so keep having a look.
