Welcome to Fresh Hair Design Ossett
Traditional & Organic Hairdressing
You may be new to the area and looking for a new hairdresser or you may be in need of some advice or a change in hairdresser, well look no further.
Fresh Hair Design Ossett is a small, friendly town centre salon offering a mix of Traditional & Organic services & products.
We specialise in cutting, styling & perming & our in house Trichologist can offer advice on hair loss & scalp conditions.
In 2021 we took the decision to stop offering in salon colouring services due to the risks now involved, change’s to skin testing protocol & more people becoming sensitive to hair colour.
This enables us to concentrate on the health of your hair & scalp.
We do sell Tints of Nature permanent hair colours & No Limits PPD semi permanent colours for home use so do ask for advice on these.
If you are unsure of what your hair needs why not book an appointment to come & see us.

Cutting
All our stylists have over 30 years hairdressing experience & have a passion for cutting.If you are looking for something specific or out of the ordinary then do get in touch.
Styling
We offer a wide range of traditional & modern styling, including your regular blow dry, roller settings, up do’s ( a trial/consultation is usually advisable for this) plaiting etc.If you need wedding hair we have limited capacity for this but also work with & alongside another local business Amy’s Hair & Beauty who offers the complete hair & makeup package for weddings.
Perming
We offer the Organic Curl System Ammonia free perm alongside our traditional perms.Contact us for more details or book a consultation for us to assess your hair .We offer a variety of different perms so there will always be one to suit your hair type unless your hair is over processed & damaged. In these cases we can usually advise & help you get your hair into the best condition possible first.
Hair Loss / Trichology
Do you have concerns about hair loss?Are you frequently shedding hair?Do you have an itchy, flaky scalp ?If you have any concerns about your hair or scalp then get in touch.We are fortunate to have our our own in house Trichologist and hair loss advisor Wendy Batchelor SRSH ART
We can offer general advice during your hair appointment or if you need a full Trichology consultation then this needs to be arranged in advance .
Hair loss can be extremely distressing but sometimes there is a simple answer. In extreme cases we may be able to diagnose and refer you on to the appropriate expert or advisor .
Don’t suffer in silence, quite often it is just a little reassurance that is needed and you will be in safe hands with Wendy our registered Trichologist .Get in touch and leave your details and we will contact you for more information.
